Thanks to Vare and Julie for letting us be a part of their wedding day!  The Lighthouse in Seneca South Carolina is an amazing place and we are honored to be the DJs at this elegant location.  The Lighthouse overlooks Lake Keowee, about an hour away from Greenville.  We provided ceremony music for Vare and Julie outside on the patio which overlooks the lake.  

Cocktail Hour:

Once the ceremony was complete, we were set up inside the venue for cocktail hour and played music from Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and Mary J Blige.  

Please Welcome...:

Cocktail hour comes to an end, and it's time to introduce the happy couple, along with their wedding party! I (Sean) was the MC for the evening and Austyn was controlling the music, and we introduced the wedding party and even the flower girls and ringbearers, followed by Mr and Mrs Hamilton!

Congrats!

We want to thank Vare and Julie for allowing us to be a part of their wedding.  We played everything from Marvin Gaye to Future throughout the evening, and even provided karaoke.  The groomsmen took advantage of this feature to sing some R Kelly to the bridesmaids, and the bridesmaids returned the favor by singing a little SWV!

Bethany and Benjamin were amazing to work with.  We met through a mutual friend, and wedding coordinator, Melissa Kozic.  From the first meeting I knew this wedding was going to be fun, and full of life.  Bethany and Ben are surrounded by amazing family and friends, which made this amazing day perfect!   

Cocktail Hour:

As Austyn and I started music for cocktail hour when guests started to arrive, we quickly realized we were very thankful that we were under an area that wasn't going to be touched by weather.  Rain on your wedding is a sign of good luck, and Bethany and Ben got a typical 10 minute southern thunderstorm during their cocktail hour.  This turned out to be perfect, because the storm dropped the temperature twenty degrees, making for a perfect evening.  Bethany and Ben picked out an amazing array of music for cocktail hour.  From The Beatles to Aerosmith to some semi-older songs by Gavin DeGraw, Jason Mraz, and Rob Thomas.  

Please Welcome...:

Cocktail hour came to a close, and it was time to announce our lovely couple into the reception area.  Just as the rain moved north toward the mountains in Greenville, we were ready.  I lined up their wedding party in order, Austyn ready by the DJ booth to play their Wedding Party Intro Song.  We intro the Wedding Party into I Gotta Feeling, and then announce Mr. & Mrs Bethany Ariel Norris and Benjamin Michael Norris into the reception area, as their song Marry You by Bruno Mars is playing.  The bride and groom find their way into the reception area, and then begin to have their first dance as a married couple.  

Congrats Bethany and Benjamin!

With the special dances and dinner out of the way, we kicked off the evening and opened up the dance floor for everyone.  We want to say CONGRATS to Bethany and Ben!  You two were amazing and we are so honored to be a part of your wedding day!

This wedding was very dear to our heart.  Adam Kozic and I grew up together.  We weren't blood brothers or anything, but our parents knew each other during our school days, and I remember many times as it snowed in Travelers Rest, we would head to his house because he had a giant hill which also happened to be his driveway that we could sled on.  Adam also told me during our final wedding meeting that he found a DVD of me when I was 16 years old (around 2002) DJing his sisters birthday party.  

Cocktail Hour:

Zen is just one of those places that we love because it's in the heart of Downtown Greenville, it's an amazing venue, with a lot of room, and was quickly being filled with all of Adam and Shelley's friends and family.  Close to 200 people packed the Zen reception room as we played cocktail music, and many enjoyed their salads and drinks awaiting the bride and grooms arrival.  

Please Welcome...:

About 30 minutes into cocktail hour I headed to the front door to wait on the bride and groom and to greet them and their wedding party.  Austyn continued to keep the crowd inside entertained with requests and even a little shagging on the dance floor.  The wedding party and the bride and groom arrived in a trolley and parked on Main Street, just outside of Zen, in Downtown Greenville, SC.  As they got off the trolley,  I gather the wedding party and line them in the correct order, followed by the Bride and Groom at the end of the line.  We walk everyone inside, and make an announcement to the crowd waiting inside, and introduce the wedding party followed by Mr. and Mrs Kozic! 

A Little Surprise!

Our second attempt it, we hired a professional to design this one.  The bride and groom and their family and friends enjoyed taking photos and selfies and using the Snapchat filter we created for their wedding evening. (See photo above)

Congrats Adam and Shelley!

It's always a great day when we get to be a part of someones wedding day.  But it's extra special when you've known your bride and groom for awhile, and all of us come from the same hometown of "TR".  Adam and Shelley are truly remarkable people.  It's great to see both of them, and to know that Adam is an amazing man, and will treat Shelley amazlingly.  We wish both of them well, and if Adam is reading this...if I can get all copies of that horrible DVD of me DJ'ing in 2002, that'd be great! :)

As with any moment, you can usually figure out how a situation is going to within the first couple of minutes of meeting someone.  Before Premiere Party Entertainment got our office space in Downtown Greenville, SC, we met Mike and Kelly at a Panera Bread off Woodruff Road.  From the beginning I knew Mike and Kelly were going to be truly amazing to work with.  Of course both Mike and Kelly wanted to make sure everything went flawlessly, and we are so happy they really trusted our judgement when it came to helping them select music for their ceremony and reception, and creating the timeline for the evening.  

Ceremony Music

Mike and Kelly got our ceremony and reception wedding package.  We set up one sound system at The Commerce Club in the ceremony hall, and another sound system in the reception location.  Ceremony music was elegant with The Piano Guys for the majority of the hour as guests arrived.  

Cocktail Hour:

We provided ceremony entertainment in a room on the other side of The Commerce Club, and also were set up in the main ballroom for the reception.  As guests exited the ceremony, Austyn was ready in the reception hall for the guests to enjoy a few cocktails, and mingle with among friends.

About 45 minutes later, the bridal party and bride and groom were ready to enter and get the night started!  We kicked off the intro with Can't Hold Us by Macklemore intro'ing the bridal party one by one and getting a standing ovation from the entire room when we introduced Mr & Mrs Farotto!

Mike and Kelly are so amazing.  We wish these two so much happiness and success in life, and we are very happy to be a part of their wedding day.  Thank you for allowing Austyn and I and our company Premiere Party Entertainment to be a part of your special day!
